So I'm well on my way of the making someone smile everyday for a week.
It started with Mindy's comment to my post on Saturday.
Then yesterday, I was at a diner close to my house and the booths have really high backs and there was a toddler standing up and looking at me. I started playing peek-a-boo with him, and he just thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He giggled quite possibly the cutest giggle I've ever heard. His parents apologized, and I told them it was not problem at all, that I was probably having more fun than him. Then they asked if I wanted to babysit. :)
Today I was having dinner at Cactus, and very intently reading my book. (Great book November 22, 1963) and the guy at the next table asked me if the book was about the Kennedy assassination, to which I replied, it was. We got to talking about the book. I happened to finish it while still at the restaurant. I then asked if he would be interested in reading the book. He seemed to show a genuine interest in it when we had discussed this. I think he was a little shocked. He smiled and thanked me. It made my very long, just okay day good.
In doing this I find that it makes my day better to brighten other peoples days.
PS: Morgan I know I told you that you could borrow the book. You can't. :)
